The 2014 STAFF Summer Conference kicks off soon. Please be in touch if we haven't provided all the information you need.

Before you leave

  • Find as BIG a school banner as you can to bring or send (Any size is really fine. Banners will be hung up for our Monday night dinner.)
  • Bring materials you would like to share to the STAFF Registration in the Kirner-Johnson building or send to:

  • Please consider quantity 50 of each piece to share with participants.
  • Coordinate with your team and decide what gear from your school you will wear on Monday night (Prizes!)
  • Dress for the conference is business casual and it's been HOT and humid in Clinton. We will be inside with air-conditioning for most meals and sessions.

Monday, July 14

10 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Registration and Information
This will be your first stop for up-to-date schedule and to get oriented to the conference and Hamilton's campus. 
NOTE: if you are a presenter, please let us know when you check in so we can be sure you have tech support or anything else you might need to have your session go smoothly.

Walking Directions to Registration
If you are staying on campus, please stay parked near your housing and walk across campus to the Kirner-Johnson building. Walk up College Hill Road. At flashing light of the crosswalk, turn left onto brick path, go through yellow Beineke Village building, cross the footbridge and the Kirner-Johnson building will be directly in front of you. 

Driving Directions to Registration
Drive up College Hill Road, pass the flashing crosswalk and turn left onto Green Apple Way and the  Kirner-Johnson building and STAFF registration will be directly in front of you. Park in the KJ Circle to register then move your car to a parking lot. 

Staying on Campus

You should have received a housing confirmation already.  If you have not, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations reunions@hamilton.edu
What to expect in the dorm room: one pillow, fitted sheets, one coverlet, towel, washcloth and little, tiny bar of hand soap. You should bring all your own toiletries. If you are flying and need to purchase items when you arrive, we have several drug stores nearby. (Kinney and CVS)

Weather
Bring clothes for all temperatures and definitely bring rain gear. We can provide a few elegant plastic rain ponchos. 

Health and Wellness
STAFF conference participants will have access to the fitness center and Hamilton's 9-hole golf course. There are plenty of options for running and biking so don't forget to pack your gear.
